About the Role:
We are looking for a Chemist / Senior Lab Technician with experience in coke oven / by-product plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for testing, analysis, and quality control of raw materials and by-products to ensure efficient plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical analysis of coal, coke, and by-products (tar, ammonia, benzol, etc.)
- Perform routine laboratory testing and maintain accurate reports
- Monitor quality parameters for coke oven operations
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Maintain lab equipment, calibration, and documentation
- Support production team with quality-related inputs
- Handle sampling, testing, and reporting as per industry standards
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) OR Diploma in Chemical / Lab Technology
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in coke oven / steel / by-product plant
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods and instruments
